Update

     I know that it has been a while since I have done anything on this blog.  I have been busy with another blog that I started, called "My Walk and Talk with God". If you care to read it you can find it at this http://www.ptl4.wordpress.com  It is a very interesting series of writings and I will continue with it.  But I felt that I needed to put and up date on my family blog.  

     We have been hoping and praying that our oldest son and his wife would have children, but that has not been medically possible.  So they pursued the adoption trail.  They had a child in Guatamala that they were in the process of adopting and were within a week of it being final, when a judge done there said no.   It was devastating for all of us.  Well, it seems as if God had another baby in mind for them and a short time later, they had a cousin ask them if they would like to adopt her yet unborn child, as she was not ready for motherhood.  The kids said yes and she came and stayed the last two months with them and she allowed them to be in the delivery room when he was born, that's right he.  JOHN PATRICK TANE GORDON was born June 10.2010.  What a joy he is to the kids and of course us grandparents.  

     I will have more on this later after all the paper work has been signed and the kids can sit back and relax and give a sigh of relief.  I will also post more pictures as they are taken.
